Hi from Guangzhou! Whew what a nice place to be! We are actually on an island called Shamian Island where adoptive parents stop for the last time before going home. We had Jade's medical exam which was very vague and almost funny. The most we got out of it was that she weighs 20 lbs 3oz. !!! My friend Marsha and I shopped today and bought some neat things for very little $$. Jade now has more outfits as she didnt have enough :>) Ryan picked out an interesting knife that will be confiscated the first time he threatens Luke and Will with it. We're headed to bed, more tomorrow and we leave the next day! Lots of love from us to you!

Michele and family... Jade is beautiful!! I'm sorry that I have not sent you a note yet, but as you know having a little one does not leave much time. I have been checking the web page, just not enough time to write. I am very impressed at how well you have done keeping everyone updated as to what and how you guys are doing. The pictures are amazing. I love seeing the boys with her. She will always have someone to protect her. The pictures on the day you got her were very touching. Michele, your face and eyes just glowed. The pic of Mike holding her on the bus(?) just makes my heart melt. I told Kim that the hair on her forehead was in the shape of a heart. Your family is having an amazing journey and we are looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back. Oh, her and Jared are at the same stages of development somewhat. Both learning how to do some of the same things. They are also close in weight. A couple of weeks ago Jared weighed 20lbs. 7oz. I think they are going to be good friends!! The Lord has blessed you and your family and really all of us too. We will now get to know this beautiful little girl from another country and as your friends, experience the joy of watching her grow. Thinking of you all everyday and praying for your safe return. We all miss you very much. We are glad you enjoy the rolls in China and that you are having fun. We wonder if you will eat more than Jade when you you get back! Tell your family we are praying for a safe trip home and can't wait to see you! All your friends at school miss you and watch the calendar daily!

Michele and family, Jade is absolutely beautiful!!! Kim was telling me that you had pictures online of your new baby girl, I just had to get online and check her out.She is so cute, and the family looks like they have been together forever.God bless you all and I am praying that you guys have a safe trip back to America.
